CANOEING

Dam to Dam Race

In the Dam to Dam race over the weekend, the following girls and staff competed against 135 paddlers:

  • Mr Pennefather came 2nd in the Grand Masters category.
  • Emily Vermaak and Georgia Frost won the U18 category.
  • Georgie Butcher and Georgia Bekker came 6th and 10th respectively in the mixed doubles with their dads.
  • Gemma Fradd came 12th in the mixed doubles.

NETBALL

Fast 5 Spar Netball

It was another encouraging display from the teams involved on Thursday, 17 October. They won seven of the eight matches played with the St Anne’s 1 Team winning 16 – 1 against St John’s and 11 – 5 versus St Nicholas.

INDOOR HOCKEY

Four teams were teams were involved in the fixture against Howick hosted at St Anne’s last week Thursday. The teams all did well and secured a win in their matches. On Monday, five junior teams were hosted by St John’s for their league fixture. We won three out of the five.

WATER POLO

The U14 and U16A teams played in a league fixture against Epworth last week Wednesday. The U16’s won 5 – 3 against the Epworth 1st. Well done to U14’s who won 13 – 2 and 14 – 3 against the Epworth U14 and U16 teams
