BASKETBALL

Results from league matches played on 14 August

Eight teams competed in the fixture against TWC on Wednesday afternoon hosted at TWC. The teams maintained their consistent performance winning 6 and only losing two. Special mention to the 1^st Team who won 30 -15 and the Under 15A who won by 22 points to 12.

SOCCER

Results from league matches played on 13 August

On Tuesday afternoon the U16 and 1^st Team competed against Greytown High while the 2^nd Team played Newton School. It was a successful day for all the teams involved as they were able secure convincing victories in the respective matches. Special mention to both the 1^st and 2^nd teams for their 6 – 0 match winning displays. Overall we scored 17 goals and conceded 1.

SWIMMMING

Well done to Georgina Butcher who swam in the SA Short Course Championships (Open Age Group) gala last week held in Pietermaritzburg. Georgie made the A finals in the 50/100 and 200m Breaststroke and placed 6^th in all three events, a great achievement considering she was swimming against the best swimmers in South Africa, a number of whom returned from overseas to swim in the Championships.
