In 1998 we designed the original Colonial Paddle Fan. Simplicity, elegance, and excellence are the underlying principles and we’ve earned a reputation for handcrafting superb quality ceiling fans for the discerning consumer. Our production is limited: each and every fan is made to order by our small team. Handcrafted quality takes time and effort but the end result is well worth it. Our finishing is second to none and every component is important to us.

Zizamele Ceramics is a team of women potters in Cape Town. Toni upskilled them in ceramic skills in 2008 and the group went on to form Zizamele Ceramics. Their signature product is the Ubuntu Bowl which comes in a variety of sizes and glazes. The Ubuntu Bowl, a powerful symbol of the unity of Africa's people, is Africa's version of the Friendship bowl. These are wheel thrown ceramic bowls with hand-modelled African lady figures holding hands around the rim. Their babies are tied to their backs and they wear their Headscarves in typical African fashion. We are also offering workshops, team builds and Airbnb experiences in our Kommetjie studio - come and meet the makers of Zizamele! Please go to https://zizamele.co.za for our online store or visit Cherylin Creations at the Quarry Centre where you will find our work.
