At St Anne’s, technology is embraced as a powerful tool to endow girls with competency and confidence. ICT facilities include campus-wide wireless coverage, interactive boards in all classrooms, and a modern IT Centre for training and learning.
As a vital component of modern society, Information and Digital Literacy is a compulsory subject from Grade 8 – 11. All Grade 8’s are allocated a laptop to use during their time at St Anne’s. Through exposure to programs and applications, girls develop skills they will utilise across the curriculum.
Girls are taught responsible and ethical digital citizenship, life skills in device and software management, and are given organisational tools to empower them with competence and confidence. The programme also refines their research and referencing skills for effective compilation and synthesis of information.
