SPORTS RESULTS, 23 FEBRUARY 2021

CANOEING

Well done to Kim and Claire van Rooyen who competed at the Lundies to Deepdale event on the 14th of February. They did very well to finish 2nd in the ladies section and 1st in the girls section.

Both girls continue with their preparation for the Duzi marathon.

EQUESTRIAN

Philippa Erskine competed at the Mount Helmsley event. She was involved in Eventing, jumping a height of 95cm and finished 1st in her category. Well done.

GOLF

Congratulations to Lucy Norton, who has been invited to join and be part of the Kwa Zulu Natal Ladies senior squad for 2021. Lucy will have the opportunity to stand for selection to represent KZN at the 72 hole Team champs and the South African Inter Provincial.

The 72 hole Teams champs will be hosted from the 25th – 28th April in the Southern Cape, while The SA Inter Provincial Championships will be played later in the year at Ronderbosch.

We wish Lucy all the best.

INDOOR HOCKEY

Pro Series indoor – U11 to u18 PSi National Tournament held in Cape Town, December 2020

Well done to Bahati Dakile, Juliette Maskell and Ella Thorburn for their achievements at PSI tournament. Ella played goalkeeper for the unbeaten Durban Panthers u18A and won the gold medal in the final. Bahati represented the Panthers U16A and her team received a silver medal, while Juliette represented the Tigers U14B who won a gold medal.

TENNIS

Results from the interhouse matches played on Saturday the 6th of February

There were some awesome matches played with a great competitive spirit on Saturday. Despite the very hot and humid conditions, the girls showed grit and enthusiasm. Marianne Brown, were the overall winners, winning both their Senior and Junior sections. Congratulations to Marianne Browne, on a well-deserved win. Great effort by all teams. Thank you to all involved.
